Cathedral Cave (The Blue Dome)

This cave is situated in a fjord like valley called Ghasri. This dive can be done from the shore but requires a walk down some steep steps cut in the rock face. After, one will find himself in a tranquil valley surrounded by high cliffs. At the mouth of the valley at a depth of 18m one will find a huge entrance leading you to the domed vault known as Cathedral Cave. Inside there are some boulders covered with colourful sponges and soft coral. The best part of this dive is when we surface in the dome itself where we will be surrounded by electrical blue light coming from the underwater entrance. Truly it is a memorable moment worth the walk down the steps.
