Reqqa Reef
This dive is
done along a vertical wall that goes down to 40 meters. It continues
on a reef jutting from the main land, the shallowest part of which is
18m. The large boulders propped against the vertical underwater cliffs
appear as though they have been deliberately placed, and offer an
excellent refuge for groupers, dentex, octopus and large scorpionfish.
The shallow waters at
the exit point reveal a profusion of bright colours and numerous small
fish. These can be admired at leisure while one is doing the safety
stop.
