A diving
license is issued to attest to the continuing competence of a person to
dive, use safely and take good care of compressed air breathing apparatus.
Without a diving license, no person is allowed to:
a. Obtain breathing air cylinders from a commercial or private compressor
b. Hire any form of compressed breathing apparatus
c. Dive in Maltese waters using such apparatus
Requirements
A completed application form (obtainable from our centre)
b. Two Passport size photos with name on the back |

c. The
presentation of qualifying log book or diving card and a photo copy of
same
d. A certificate of fitness to dive obtained during the current year
e. A charge of Lm2 for processing and licensing.
In the case of beginners or divers with qualifications less than CMAS** or
PADI Advanced or equivalent, they will be able to dive under the
responsibility of the Government Registered Diving Instructor who will be
able to obtain their cylinders and equipment under his name. |
