Freediver course
Freediving allows you to enter the stunning underwater world surrounding Gozo on your own terms. It is all about control, calmness and inner strength. Taking the PADI Freediver course will allow you to discover why freediving is quickly becoming a popular way to explore beneath the surface. You will learn the theory of freediving independently. In the water, you will begin with some breath hold training in confined water. Goals are set to encourage your progression throughout the course. You will soon begin to conduct free immersion and constant weight dives in open water, testing your technique and control. You will also look into diver safety, rescue and proper use of a buddy team. Includes: Course tuition, equipment. Does not include: Certification, learning materials.

Blue Waters Dive Cove is a Gozo diving centre certified by PADI and fully licenced by the Malta Tourism Authority. Having been based here in Qala for over 15 years, we are a well established and trusted member of the Gozitan diving community. Our relaxed and caring approach in all of our diving activities has led us to grow over the years, developing a great relationship with our guests that keeps people coming back year on year. We are pleased to offer a full range of dive packages. These include the full range of PADI courses, from beginner to professional and Technical levels.
Also we offer accompanied diving, allowing you to explore the varied underwater landscapes and dive sites that Gozo has to offer, both from the shore and boat. We are also happy to offer specific freediving courses. We are lucky to be based in the beautiful village of Qala, away from busier areas of the island, so you can enjoy a relaxed stay. On site, our rental equipment is top quality and the training facilities are excellent. We are more than happy to offer complete holiday services such as accommodation, car hire and return airport transfers.
