PADI Discover Tec

  • The PADI Tec Basics course is an introductory program for recreational divers looking to explore technical diving or refine their technical skills. It focuses on building foundational technical diving skills and introducing equipment configurations like backmount doubles or sidemount. PADI Tec 50

  • The final piece of the PADI Tec puzzle is the Tec 50 course. Once again divers will expand their knowledge, looking deeper into mission planning, execution and emergency handling. Here we can also include a second decompression gas, so divers have the option to make accelerated decompression stops with up to two gases. Reaching this level is a true achievement and opens doors to more advanced diving options.

PADI Tec 40

  • After noticing the equipment and professionalism of other Tec divers, it is often a natural step to want to bridge the gap between no-stop dives and decompression diving. The PADI Tec 40 course is that first step in the full PADI Tec Deep course.
    Divers will gain a vast amount of knowledge in the risks of decompression diving, Tec diving equipment, all aspects of dive planning and handling emergency procedures. On completion, participants will be qualified to make limited decompression dives to 40m.

PADI Tec 45

  • On completion of the Tec 40 course the next step is Tec 45.
    Here participants will advance on the knowledge they learned, fine tuning equipment and making sure all gas planning is accurate and conservative as dives can include accelerated decompression stops with up to 100 percent oxygen.
    Divers must be ready for a challenge and truly start to think like Tec divers.

PADI Tec 40, 45 & 50 combo

  • This course is a combination of the Tec 40, Tec 45 and Tec 50 courses run back-to-back. Divers will start with the basics of Tec diving, learning how to properly set up the standard Tec rig and master buoyancy control with the setup. By the end of the Tec 50 course participants will have complete mastery of planning and executing Tec decompression dives up to 50m using up to 2 decompression gases up to 100% oxygen.

PADI Tec Sidemount

PADI Tec 65 Trimix

  • The PADI Tec Trimix 65 course is designed for experienced technical divers ready to explore deeper depths using multi-gas, multi-stage diving techniques. Building on your existing tec diving skills, this course introduces the use of trimix – a blend of oxygen, helium, and nitrogen – to reduce narcosis and improve safety at depths up to 65 meters.

    Throughout the course, you'll learn how to:

    • Plan and execute extended, accelerated decompression dives using hypoxic trimix

    • Manage multiple decompression gases and stage cylinders efficiently

    • Fine-tune your dive planning with advanced gas management and decompression strategies

    • Mitigate the challenges of deep diving, including gas density, thermal protection, and emergency procedures

  • The PADI Tec Trimix 90 course is the ultimate level of technical deep diving offered by PADI, designed for experienced technical divers who want to explore extreme depths using hypoxic trimix. This course builds on previous technical certifications and expands your capabilities to depths of up to 90 metres using advanced trimix blends and multiple decompression gases.

    What You’ll Learn:
