Lantern Point

Lantern Point is a boat dive that commences at the southwestern tip of Comino, named after the nearby lighthouse. Renowned for its variety, diverse natural features, and abundant marine life, this dive site promises an incredible underwater experience.

The boat anchors on a shallow shelf, approximately 6m deep, adjacent to a hole that leads divers through the plateau amidst large boulders, reaching a depth of around 16m. Advanced divers have the option to further descend to approximately 30m. This descent reveals an impressive cave, providing ample space for divers to swim into open water.

Continuing along the striking vertical wall, large boulders extend to depths of up to 50m, serving as habitats for various Mediterranean marine species, including Shrimp, Lobster, Moray, Octopus, and Nudibranchs. The rock formations transform as you progress along the wall, gradually ascending before turning the dive when air supply necessitates.

The diverse and awe-inspiring landscape of Lantern Point makes it a favorite among divers of all skill levels.
